After quinquenium of war in Ukraine we published new report about war crimes

After five years the war in Ukraine is no more on foreign newspapers’ front pages. The topic is disappearing from international agendas. It may seem that the world distances itself from the uneasy, distressful and continuously unresolved problem. But the war didn’t cease. Civilians are being killed and injured right at this moment. We published a report on attacks on religion in the occupied territories of Ukraine

For the report we collected information on the oppression of representatives of religions that are different form than Moscow Orthodox Christianity in the occupied Crimea and some areas of Lugansk and Donetsk regions. This report was submitted to the Office of the Prosecutor of the International Criminal Court in the city of The Hague for further investigations of the crimes and for bringing the perpetrators to justice.

We prepared the report in cooperation with the International Renaissance Foundation.

We’ve published a report about persecution of civic activists in Crimea

Incriminate without any proofs. Demonstrate power to silence the truth. Stigmatize as terrorists to isolate from the rest of society. This is how the occupation regime in Crimea seeks to eliminate the human rights association Crimean solidarity.

Numerous Russian Federation’s offences against the Crimean Tatar activists and against this ethnic group, in general, are described in this report. The report is based on data collected in the spring of 2019 during field missions in the occupied Crimea.

The report is the result of the work of organizations Truth Hounds, IPHR, CrymSOS and Helsińska Fundacja Praw Człowieka.
