New report: Attacks on civilians and civilian infrastructure in Eastern Ukraine

Truth Hounds and International Partnership for Human Rights (IPHR) in partnership with National Endowment for Democracy (NED) present their latest report – Attacks on Civilians and Civilian Infrastructure in Eastern Ukraine. The Report sets forth new evidence of international crimes, perpetrated by the Ukrainian Armed Forces (UAF) and Russian-backed separatist militias – the so-called Donetsk Peoples’ Republic (DPR) and Luhansk Peoples’ Republic (LPR), in the context of and associated with the armed conflict in eastern Ukraine.

Culture, annexed: New report describes dire situation with historical heritage of Crimean Tatars

The reports’ name Under the Russian heel and trowel speaks for itself. Tatar culture is now completely controlled by Russia that in 2014 annexed their land, part of Ukrainian territorн. Morever Russia dramatical rebuilds, alters and changes Tatar cultural sites, depriving them of their historical memory.

Environmental war crimes is a new direction for Truth Hounds

Whatever the goals a war has, it should not harm the civilians and protected objects. And it should not harm environment either. No crime against nature caused by the war in eastern Ukraine should go unpunished. For this reason Truth Hounds and NED have started pilot project on documenting environmental war crimes.
