Complete and reliable information on war crimes that take place in combat zone of Eastern Ukraine has recently become publicly available owing to Truth Hounds’ work. Before that related information was often distorted, some facts were ignored, others exaggerated. For years the subject was used for fake news.
Having conveyed the report Attacks on Civilians and Civilian Infrastructure in Eastern Ukraine to the International Criminal Court’s Prosecutor in The Hague, we made this information publicly available too. A month after the press conference the coverage of our meticulous work’s results exceeded 5 million people.
Working on the report in course of 2015-2017, the Authors interviewed about three hundred eyewitnesses and victims of the war, documented attack impact sites, missile remnants and collected evidence of damage to civilian infrastructure. Truth Hounds conducts all work in accordance with the ICC Statute, ICC Elements of Crimes and applicable jurisprudence.
